Do you pay based on miles or percentage?
We pay company drivers and contractors on a mileage basis calculated on PC Miler.
How much experience does Koch Trucking require?
We currently require a minimum of 24 months current Over The Road experience.
How often will I get home?
Getting home will vary by fleet and home location. Most of our drivers will be out from 5 to 21 days.
Can I take the truck home with me?
Yes. You must have parking for a tractor and trailer in a safe secure location.
What equipment do you run?
We run primarily 2007 to 2010 Volvo 670’s.
What speed is your equipment governed at?
Our equipment is governed at 65 mph.
Do you offer a Lease Purchase program?
Koch Trucking offers a Lease Purchase program to qualified applicants.
Where are your terminals located?
Minneapolis MN, Ardmore OK, and Lawrence KS
How soon do Medical and Dental Benefits become effective?
Medical benefits are effective at the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment. Dental, vision, and 401K are available at 90 days of employment.
Do you have a Rider Program?
Yes. The passenger must be at least 12 years of age. Cost is $15.50 per month.
Do you allow Pets?
No. We do not allow pets in Company equipment.
Do I have to deliver to New York City or Canada?
NYC freight comprises about 1% of Koch Trucking freight. No Canada freight for our van fleet drivers.
Do you pay for detention?
Yes. Company drivers are paid $15.50 per hour if they are delayed at a customer longer than 2 hours from the appointment time.
How do I submit my paperwork?
Koch Trucking utilizes the Trip Pak system at no cost to our drivers.
Do you authorize tolls and how do I pay for them?
We provide all company drivers with a PrePass transponder for all authorized toll expenses.Contractors will be reimbursed for all authorized tolls.
Do I have to have a Hazmat endorsement to drive for Koch Trucking?
Yes. A Hazmat endorsement is required within 90 days of sign on.
What is your average length of haul?
Koch Trucking's average length of haul is approximately 500 miles.
